Aqua Adventure
The Aqua adventure is a watery blend of action sports and sightseeing. The tour consist of paragliding, scuba diving, surfing and rafting. You begin in Lima where the city tour takes you to Miraflores, here you will paraglide over the city and along the Green Coast overlooking the Pacific Ocean. You then jump into the ocean and swim with freindly sea lions off Isla Palomino. You ride the breaks at Punta Hermosa, famous for its surfing. Then it is off to Cusco for your encounter with Machu Picchu. You finish your trip with a heart pounding rafting trip through the Vilcanota and Urubamba river.

  8 Days, 7 Nights
Day 1
You arrive in Lima in the afternoon. After your reception you have the option of taking a nap after the long flight or you can head out with the rest of us to the main square for some sightseeing, shopping. and paragliding over the skyline of Miraflores. In the evening the night is yours, giving you a chance to taste some of Peru's drinks and to get to know Limas' nightlife.
Day 2
In the morning we head out to La Punta in the port city of Callao. Here we meet up with our Master Diver and get equipped for a day of scuba diving. You are taken to the Isla Palomino, the largest island off of Lima with a long maritime history in Peru. On it's shore there is a huge colony of sea lions which you will be able to swim with. Their acrobatics and freindliness have made this tour a popular one, However PADI certification is necessary to dive with these amazing creatures. In the evening you are free to explore a vibrant Miraflores.
Day 3
Today we travel to Punta Hermosa, a surfing village about an hour south of Lima. Here you will spend the entire day surfing and relaxing on the beach. Beginners lesson and gear rental is included. There are many different styles of waves on this stretch of beach, according to your tastes we will relocate accordingly. You spend the evening in Punta Hermosa and overnight here.
Day 4
Another lazy day of hanging out at the beach and catching some waves. In the evening we head back to your Lima hotel, you have the evening free to check out the clubs and nightlife.
Day 5
You depart for Cusco this morning via air. Arriving in Cusco you head out to begin your Machu Picchu adventure. Driving through the serene Sacred Valley of the Incas, you'll visit some ruins as well as make a stop at a market for those that wish to purchase souvenirs. Your road trip takes you to the town of Ollantaytambo, here you'll check out the massive ruins before catching a train to the tourist town of Aquas Calientes beneath the ruins of Machu Picchu, here you'll spend the night.
Day 6
This morning you wake up early to board one of the first buses up to Machu Picchu. Once up at the ruins you'll catch a beautiful sunrise over the site, your then given a tour of the ruins. Afterwards you have the option of climbing to the peak of Wayna Picchu or exploring the maze of ruins throughout the site. In the late afternoon you catch the train back to Cusco for the nights festivities.
Day 7
Today we do some rafting. Early in the morning we pick you up from the hotel and drive through the Andes to the Sacred Valley of the Incas to a private put in, located in Pachar, here you will receive your safety talk and equipment. After a brief period practicing on the flat parts of the river, the first part of the tour will be in easy water but with spectacular views of the mountains and archeological ruins, passing down to Ollantaytambo and its Inca terraces and we find rapids class II and III finishing with “El Resbaladero” (the slippery one) which a strong class III rapid that includes waves and small whirlpools. Afterwards we will have a lunch at the side of the river in a traditional restaurant owned by the local community. We will enjoy the spectacular Andean cuisine and help to support a local community project. We then return to Cusco for your last night in Peru, the evening is yours.
Day 8
In the morning you board a plane back to Lima. Depending on the hour of your return flight home you have the option to get some last minute shopping in or being driven to the airport to catch your flight home. That concludes The Aqua Adventure. Hope you have fun!
