You will be in Peru in no time!
Day 1
You are picked up from your hotel at 6am, leaving Cusco you drive to Cachora, 3 hours away. The group then has around half an hour to prepare for the beginning of the trek. The first day has you hiking through small villages and farms in which you can observe Andean life as you get closer to amazing views of the Apus or mountains such as Padrayoc ( a.s.l) en route to your campground. You will pass the small communities of La Colmena and Capuliyoc as you reach a lookout that gives you incredible views of the Apurimac River Canyon.

You then half lunch and afterwards begin to descend through a horseshoe trail towards Chiquisca where you will be able to appreciate the diverse flora. You continue hiking for an hour until reaching the Rosalina Beach on the banks of the Apurimac River where we will establish our campground at approximately 4:30 pm. at 5 pm tea will be served followed by a delicious dinner at 7 pm. You have the evening to explore your surroundings or sit back and relax.
Day 2
You are woken up and 6 am and will have half an hour to get your things together, breakfast is served at 6:30 am. From this point we will begin the ascent towards the sacred city of Choquiquirao amidst interesting flora and incredible views. We will pass Sugar Cane distilleries where we will get to sample the famous Guarapo de Caña on our way to the area where will se set up camp for lunch. We camp at a beautiful location looking out at the sacred mountains of the region and then continuing our ascent through agricultural camps and farmland. We arrive Raqaypata Camp (a.s.l) at 3:30 pm, this camp is 20 minutes from the Inca City of Choquequirao and it is possible to explore and take some photos of the nearby ruins with your guide in toe. at 5 pm there will be tea time, it is also common at this time to observe condors in the area. Dinner is then served at 7pm.
Day 3
You are woken up and 6 am and will have half an hour to get your things together, breakfast is served at 6:30 am. At 7 pm you begin your guided tour of Choquequirao, visiting the site thoroughly before departing to make your way back to Cusco. On the route back to your campground you will enjoy a lunch at the community of Santa Rosa where if conditions permit you will hike to a nearby lookout where you can take pictures of the incredible scenery. You reach your campground at 4 pm followed by a tea time and Dinner at 7pm.
Day 4
You are woken up and 5 am and will have half an hour to get your things together, breakfast is served at 5:30 am. At 6 pm we depart the campground and continue to ascend towards the pass at Capuliyoc. We will again pass Apurimac Canyon on our way to Cachora where you will have your final lunch. after a short break you will then board our transportation awaiting us to return back to Cusco. From Cachora to Cusco takes approximately 4 hours, you will then be transferred to your hotel.
