Welcome to our 2010 Free Trip to Machu Picchu Contest! this year the format is a little different but we are sure to have a lot of fun running it as it is now easier then ever for you to participate and even compete with fellow twitterers from all over! The winner of this contest will be able to explore the new wonder of the word, the citadel of Machu Picchu.

As a winner you'll be able to pick your departure date or cash in your prize for any of our other tours. So good luck to all of you who are participating and we'll see you at the finish line!

Amazing doesn't even begin to describe our trip to Machu Picchu or our experience with Karikuy. From the minute we started planning our trip Julio did an excellent job of working with us to make sure that our trip was everything we wanted it to be. Machu Picchu has been a place I had dreamed of going to for years and with the help of Karikuy it was even better than I imagined. Everything was taken care of for us from beginning to end and it was great to know that we were in good hands along the way. The Jungle Trail package was fantastic and I can't imagine a better way to experience Peru and arrive at Machu Picchu. Karikuy helped us pick the very best way to see Peru and ensured wonderful memories for years to come. If I ever have the chance to go to Peru again I will definitely use Karikuy again. Thanks Julio!

Peru Tour Details
1. You must be 18 years of age and older to participate.
2. Links which you submit to us must remain active for a full year.
3. Karikuy has the right to disqualify any person(s) who we deem are spamming or misrepresenting Karikuy and our programs.
4. Contest Deadline is February 19, 2010
5. Winner has until December 31, 2010 to redeem his/her prize.
6. Grand prize is awarded to individual with accumulation of most points up until midnight (EST) of February 19th 2010.
7. Karikuy has the right to use the winners likeness and use all statements and testimonials in the manner we see fit.
8. Winner must agree and sign our Trip application to receive his/her prize.
9. Scheduling of prize is to be determined between winner and Karikuy. Prize not legible during holidays (international and national)
10. Contestant will participate in the Karikuy-Haugen Fund by accompanying an Inca Trail Porter and blogging about the experience.
11. Contestants must have a minimum of 150 people following them at contests end to claim prize.
12. Contestant will be disqualified if 5 or more tweets entered are found to be duplicates.
13. Contestants agree to these rules by participating in our contest. Karikuy has the right to modify rules to improve contest experience for all participants.
Peru Tour Details
Day 1: Reception at Lima International Airport. Afternoon Luxury Bus (Cruz Del Sur Suite) to Cusco, overnight Bus Bed.
Day 2: Morning Arrival to Cusco, Hostel Check in, Free day to acclimatize & explore Cusco. Overnight Cusco Hostel.
Day 3: Machu Picchu by car tour begins. Overnight Aguas Calientes Hostal.
Day 4: Sunrise at Machu Picchu. Early morning tour with guide, evening return to Cusco by Car. Overnight Cusco Hostal.
Day 5: Afternoon departure to Lima via Luxury Bus (Cruz del Sur Suite), Overnight Bus Bed.
Day 6: Arrival in Lima and Departure home, Lima Tour optional.
Package includes: Transportation, Guides, Lodging, Tours, and partial meals.
