Day 1 |
The Horseback tour gives you the flexibility to explore the areas surrounding Cusco at your own pace. The tour lasts roughly 6 hours and has you visit the same locations as the Cusco City Tour, for that reason it is recommended that you choose other sites (see Important Note) that you may not have already visited on the City Tour or to substitute the Cusco City Tour for the 5 Ruins on Horseback. You visit the fortress of Sacsayhuaman on the default route as well as Qenq'o, Tambomachay, Puka Pukara and Zone X. A guide is provided to help you with the horses as you travel from ruin to ruin. Departures for this tour run from 9am to 1 pm. Transport to the horse Ranch is also provided, however the ride back to Cusco is not included although transportation back to Cusco can be arranged for an extra price. |
