  8 Days, 7 Nights
Day 1
You arrive in Lima in the afternoon. After your reception you have the option of taking a nap after the long flight or you can head out with the rest of us to the main square for some sightseeing and shopping. In the evening the night is yours, giving you a chance to taste some of Peru's drinks and to get to know Limas' nightlife.
Day 2
In the morning you fly to Cusco, the capital city of the ancient Inca Empire. You head out on a tour of the city early in the afternoon. You'll have a chance to visit the Temple of the Sun and the Sacsayhuaman fortress overlooking the city. You'll also visit the main church in the Plaza de Armas, a jaw dropping sight as the interior is covered in gold and silver. At night Cusco lights up and dancing and drinking is the norm.
Day 3
You begin our trip to Machu Picchu this morning. Driving through the serene Sacred Valley of the Incas, you'll visit some ruins as well as make a stop at a market for those that wish to purchase souvenirs. Your road trip takes you to the town of Ollantaytambo, here you'll check out the massive ruins before catching a train to the tourist town of Aquas Calientes beneath the ruins of Machu Picchu, here you'll spend the night.
Day 4
This morning you wake up early to board one of the first buses up to Machu Picchu. Once up at the ruins you'll catch a beautiful sunrise over the site, your then given a tour of the ruins. Afterwards you have the option of climbing to the peak of Wayna Picchu or exploring the maze of ruins throughout the site. In the late afternoon you catch the train back to Cusco for the nights festivities.
Day 5
In the morning you depart Cusco and fly back to Lima. We then catch an afternoon bus to Ica, about a four hour bus ride through the colorful desert. We arrive in the evening at the Huacachina Oasis, about 10 minutes from Ica. Here you will lodge for the night. You have the option of climbing the massive dunes to catch sunset or you could rent dune buggies and head out for some late sandboarding (Not Included, $15).
Day 6
It's only another 2 to 3 hours to Nazca, our next destination. We arrive in the early afternoon and set off for the city tour after checking in to your hotel. The Nazca City tour consists of visiting the small museum and the surrounding lines via observation towers. You have the evening free to explore the many eateries and nightlife.
Day 7
Today we'll have a light breakfast and meet your pilot at the Nazca Aerodrome. The flight over the famous Nazca lines only takes about a half hour, but it is unforgettable. Make sure you take any motion medication before boarding as the small plane maneuvers can make you a bit queasy. After the flight we head back to Lima via luxury bus, at night we toast and dance the night away to your last couple of hours in the city of kings.
Day 8
Depending on the hour of your return flight home you have the option to get some last minute shopping in or being driven to the airport to catch your flight home. That concludes The Mysteries of Peru Tour. Hope you have fun!
