Aldea Yanapay

Aldea Yanapay: is a non-profit organization that finances itself with the incomes of the Aldea Yanapay Restaurant. After covering the costs of the restaurants (rent, services and staff) the profit directly goes to pay for the rent of the Yanapay School and everything else that is needed in the school. They also have a hostal that with its profits hopefully will help to reopen the Aldea Yanapay Culture Center in the future.

Yanapay Schools
Monday-Friday from 3pm-7pm
Level of Spanish: basic, intermediate or advanced
The volunteer helps the children in different subjects: art, English, theatre, homework, literature, educational games
Police Project
Monday-Saturday two shifts: 9am-1pm and 3pm-7pm
Level of Spanish: intermediate or advanced
There are children under custody in the police station for different reasons: minor drugs, robberies, physical violence. The volunteers give quality to their lives during their stay at the police station by teaching them about arts, watching videos with them or by doing sports with them

- Costs: No inscription fee. Volunteer has to pay for food and accommodation
