Hey guys - I'm Maren from Germany and I will be helping Julio the next 4 weeks here in Lima, Peru. I opted for volunteering because I wanted to get to know the Peruvian people, their culture, their history, their cuisine and much more and not only see the main touristic attractions.

In real life I'm studying International Business Administration in South Germany and will be finishing with my Bachelor degree in one year. I've been travelling and living in different countries since HighSchool: USA, Australia, New Zealand, Spain and Mexico. For the past 10 months I studied in Guadalajara, Mexico and I really learned to love the country, its people, its language etc. and I think it will be quite interesting for me to see the differences and the similarities between Peru and Mexico.
