- Teach Huaraz Peru: is a small volunteer organization whose goal is to enrich the lives of local Peruvian people as well as international volunteers who want to make a difference within this fascinating country.
- - Volunteering positions: teaching English in:
- - Orphanages
- - Preliminary Schools
- - Primary Schools
- - Secondary Schools
- - Technical Institutes
- - Universities
- - Language Centers – for students of any age, including adults
- - INABIF – a friendly center for parents and children, who are often very poor, to come to socialize and interact with new people and cultures
- - Who can volunteer: Gap Year Students; Current Students;Spanish Language Students; Career Gappers; Prospective & Current Teachers; Retirees
- - Schedule/Duration of stay: 4 days/week with 4 hours minimum and 5 hours maximum/day; duration from 1 month - 6 months
- - Fee:
- - Placement Fee: $200 includes:
- - Arrangement and confirmation of your individually tailored volunteer program
- - Airport pickup and escorted bus transport from Lima to Huaraz
- - Organization of your homestay accommodation
- - Homestay Accommodation with the Delgado Family: $95 per week or $350 per month includes:
- - Private bedroom and bathroom, with hot water
- - 3 meals a day shared with the family (all dietary requirements are well catered for, including for vegetarians and vegans) or the option to prepare your own meals in a separate kitchen at a reduced fee
- - Opportunity of Spanish Lessons at an extra cost
