Lolo Fernandez scored a total of 6 goals in the two games.[3]

In the 1938 Bolivarian Games in Bogotá, Fernandez won Golden medal.[4]

In 1939, he played in the South American Championship 1939 becoming that year's champion with the National Team. [5]The final was played against Uruguay (2-1) which at the time was the current Olympic and World Champion. "Lolo" was the top scorer of the competition with 7 goals.
