The way it works is that you buy a Laptop with our specifications at the lowest price you can find, we then buy it from you in cash upon your arrival in Lima for $800. Depending on the price you bought the Laptop you could be seeing savings of up to $300 or more if you have good bargain hunting skills.
The Low Price for Merchandise program has been running privatley since January of 2009, and is now available to all Karikuy customers as an optional service. This program is possible due to the high demand of electronics in Peru and their high cost of importation. Customs allows you to import several personal electronics into Peru for example; 1 personal laptop, 1 personal video camera, 1 personal photo camera etc. By using this opportunity you can save big on your vacation in Peru. We at Karikuy simply resell the computer at normal prices through our merchant partners and sites such as Kotear.pe and MercadoLibre.com. Our profits go towards running the organization and advancing our projects.

- Review the bargains on the right or search for your own bargains online. Look for the lowest possible prices that fit our specifications. If you are not sure about the specs of a laptop you can email us here with the details.
- Inspect your purchase, make sure it is in working condition and there are no issues as we will not accept any malfunctioning items. Make sure you give yourself time to return the product before your departure date to Peru so you can make any needed changes or returns.
- Get your laptop ready for travel. Make sure you carry it in your carry on bag or in a travel bag of it's own. DO NOT LEAVE IT IN YOUR CHECKED LUGGAGE. We are not responsible for lost laptops before they reach our possesion. Make sure you bring the receipt of purchase with you as well as any documentation or peripherals. DO NOT TRANSPORT THE LAPTOP IN ITS ORIGINAL PACKAGING, bring the laptop with you as if it's your own personal item.
- Upon your arrival in Lima, Karikuy will inspect the product to make sure it is functional and double check the specs. We will then pay you $800 cash for your product. We will ask for the products receipt, manuals etc. We will then go on to resell it using this profit as our own.
