5 Days, 4 Nights |
Day 1 |
You are greeted at the airport upon your early morning arrival in Lima, You will be given your airfare tickets and further information on your trip while you wait for your connecting flight to Cusco. Upon your arrival in Cusco you will be escorted to your backpacker hostel where you can leave your things and prepare to head out and explore the city. You have the rest ot the day to acclimate and have fun. |
Day 2 |
Today you will be escorted to your bus as you begin to make your way to Machu Picchu. You will take the bus to Ollantaytambo from where you will board the train to Aguas Calientes. At Aguas Calientes you check into your hostel before heading out to explore the tiny frontier town. Here you can check out the hot springs at the rear of the town or get a bite to eat at the various restaurants lining the city streets. |
Day 3 |
This morning you wake up early to board one of the first buses up to Machu Picchu. Once up at the ruins you'll catch a beautiful sunrise over the site. Afterwards you have the option of climbing to the peak of Wayna Picchu or exploring the maze of ruins throughout the site. In the late afternoon you catch the train back to Cusco. After checking back in to your hotel you have the night free to toast to your final night in Peru. |
Day 4 |
Today you are escorted to the airport as Karikuy provides you with your airfare back to Lima. You are greeted at the airport upon arrival in Lima and taken to Hotel España. At the hotel you will share a backpacker room with other travelers. You have the rest of the day to head out and explore Lima. The Plaza de Armas is just a 5 minute walk away, you can choose to watch the changing of the guards, visit the National cathedral or head next door to the cathedral of San Fransisco and their mysterious catacombs. Setting up tours of Lima today with Karikuy is optional. |
Day 5 |
In the morning you will be driven to the airport to catch your flight back home. This concludes the backpacker from Karikuy. If you desire some time for shopping in Lima or an extra night in a hotel let Karikuy know, we will assist you with anything you need. |

7 Days, 6 Nights |
Day 1 |
You are greeted at the airport upon arrival in Lima and taken to the Bus terminal to await your overnight bus to Cusco. You will travel to Cusco with VIP service via Cruz del Sur, their bus bed service is a comftorable and economic option over air travel. Enjoy the scenery on route as you begin to enter the Andes. |
Day 2 |
You are greeted at the Bus terminal upon your early morning arrival in Cusco, you will then be escorted to your backpacker hostel where you can leave your things and prepare to head out and explore the city. You have the rest ot the day to acclimate and have fun. |
Day 3 |

Today you have the whole day at your disposal in Puno. You can choose to set out and explore the floating reed islands called Uros or you can explore the surrounding countryside, the day is yours to plan. You overnight in the Tumi Hostel. |
Day 6 |
A very scenic bus ride awaits you today as you make your way to Arequipa. You arrive in Arequipa in the afternoon and and are escorted to your hostel where you will spend the night. You have the evening free to enjoy the culture of the 'White City'. |
Day 7 |
Today you are escorted to the airport as Karikuy provides you with your airfare back to Lima. This concludes the backpacker from Karikuy. If you desire some time for shopping in Lima or an extra night in a hotelor hostel let Karikuy know, we will assist you with anything you need. |

10 Days, 9 Nights |
Day 1 |
You are greeted at the airport upon arrival in Lima and taken to Hotel España. At the hotel you will share a backpacker room with other travelers. You have the rest of the day to head out and explore Lima. Day 2 |
Your transportaion arrives in the morning to take you to the bus station. Karikuy provides you with tranportation between cities and today you will be heading to Ica. It's a four hour bus ride to the southern city, upon your arrival you flag down a taxi and head to the Huacachina Oasis 10 minutes away. In Huacachina you will be staying at the Desert Nights Backpacker Hostel opposite the Lagoon. You have the day free to sandboard and check out the dunes surrounding the oasis. In the evening the oasis comes alive with nightlife. |
Day 3 |
Today you wake up in the early morning to catch your bus to Nazca two hours away. You are escorted from the Nazca Bus terminal to the airport where you will catch your overflight of the mysterious Nazca Lines. After your flight you head back to the Bus Terminals to catch your overnight bus to Arequipa. The Tepsa Bus Bed provides comfort on this long ride through the peruvian coast and into the high Andes. |
Day 4 |
You arrive in Arequipa in the early morning, here you can choose to catch some more sleep on the bus while it is stationed or head out for an early morning breakfast. At noon you can check into the Arequipay Backpackers House where you will spend the night. The rest of the day is free for you to do as you please. In the evening take advantage of Arequipas loud nightlife as tomorrow you have the option of sleeping in late. |
Day 5 |
You have the morning free in Arequipa to sleep in or continue exploring the city. In the afternoon your bus departs to Puno where you will arrive at about 10pm. At the bus terminal you will be escorted to Tumi Hostel where you will spend the night. |
Day 6 |
Today you have the whole day at your disposal. You can choose to set out and explore the floating reed islands called Uros or you can explore the surrounding countryside, the day is yours to plan. You overnight once again in Tumi Hostal. |
Day 7 |
A very scenic bus ride awaits you today as you make your way to Cusco, the navel of the world. You arrive in Cusco in the late afternoon and and are escorted to your hostel where you will spend the night. You have the evening free in Cusco. |
Day 8 |
Today you will be escorted to the bus station as you begin to make your way to Machu Picchu. You will take a bus to Ollantaytambo from where you will hop on a train to Aguas Calientes. At Aguas Calientes you check into your hostel before heading out to explore the tiny frontier town. Here you can check out the hot springs at the rear of the town or get a bite to eat at the various restaurants lining the city streets. |
